Pentru români, anul 2016 este unul al alegerilor, în ţara noastră urmând a avea loc alegeri locale în iunie şi alegeri parlamentare în noiembrie.
Iar pentru a evita cât mai mult posibil fraudele de la alegeri, Autoritatea Electorală Permanentă anunţă schimbarea regulilor.
Astfel, pentru prima dată în istorie, alegătorii nu vor mai prezenta actul de identitate membrilor secţiilor de votare ci operatorului unui calculator.
Acesta va semnala, cu ajutorul unui sistem informatic de monitorizare a prezenţei la vot şi de prevenire a votului ilegal, dacă persoana respectivă a împlinit vârsta de 18 ani până în ziua votării inclusiv, dacă şi-a pierdut drepturile electorale, dacă este arondată la altă secţie şi dacă şi-a mai exercitat dreptul la vot la acelaşi scrutin.
În baza rezultatelor generate, preşedintele biroului electoral al secţiei de votare poate opri de la votare persoana care încă nu a împlinit 18 ani şi persoana care şi-a pierdut drepturile electorale, poate îndruma alegătorul spre secţia la care este arondat sau poate înscrie persoana respectivă în lista electorală suplimentară.
Membrii Autorităţii Electorale Permanente anunţă, cu această ocazie, că este nevoie ca minimum 30.000 de persoane să fie instruite pentru a fi operatori ai sistemului, procesul de recrutare începând deja.
