După ce a acceptat să intre în joaca PNL de-a alba-neagra cu candidatul la alegerile pentru Primăria Capitalei, europarlamentarul Cristian Buşoi vrea să-şi şteargă din imaginea proastă cu care s-a ales şi a început să se dea dulău într-o dispută dusă de la distanţă cu Traian Băsescu, fostul preşedinte al României.
Astfel, după ce Băsescu a instigat la extremism şi s-a plâns că “nu liderii politicieni nesăbuiţi vor plăti factura pentru uşurinţa cu care sunt primiţi jihadiştii pe Bătrânul Continent”, Buşoi îl acuză pe fostul preşedinte de “terorism politic”.
“Nu înţeleg cum este posibil ca domnul Traian Băsescu să dea dovadă de atâta cinism şi să treacă la discursuri extremiste şi să fructifice aţâţarea fricii românilor în speranţa că va mai stoarce nişte voturi din frica oamenilor. Aceasta nu este, în opinia mea, decât o dovadă de cinism şi inconştienţă, dacă vreţi, un fel de terorism politic”, a fost mesajul transmis de Buşoi.
În plus, europarlamentarul îl acuză pe fostul preşedinte de ipocrizei, respectiv că “se răţoieşte la actualii lideri ai Uniunii Europene, deşi ştie foarte bine că a fost ţinut în funcţie de aceştia până la sfârşitul celor două mandate de şef de stat”.
Buşoi spune că România nu are nevoie de “declaraţii radicale ale unor politicieni care nu au alt scop decât să împrăştie frica şi să răspândească ura”.
În opinia europarlamentarului, “ţara noastră trebuie să-şi consolideze mecanismele de luptă împotriva terorismului, să consolideze instituţiile care au competenţe în acest domeniu şi să nu detoneze frica oamenilor”.
Totuşi, Buşoi recunoaşte că “atentatele de la Bruxelles ne-au confirmat faptul că politicienii europeni sunt depăşiţi şi că Europa nu se poate apăra în mod eficient de terorism. Deschizând porţile valului de imigranţi, Europa a lăsat să se strecoare, din păcate, şi duşmani amestecaţi printre oamenii care au fugit de suferinţă, de război, de foamete şi de nenorociri”.
