Pe 5 iunie, românii ar trebui să-şi aleagă primarii în cadrul scrutinului de la alegerile locale.
Însă alegerile sunt în pericol de a nu se mai desfăşura din cauza unei acţiuni puse la cale de membrii Sindicatului Naţional al Funcţionarilor Publici.
Aceştia sunt nemulţumiţi de discrepanţele salariale existente între funcţii publice similare şi ameninţă că vor boicota alegerile locale în cazul în care Parlamentul nu va elimina discrepanţele respective.
În plus, oamenii sunt nemulţumiţi de “întârzierea negocierii şi aprobării Legii unice de salarizare în domeniul bugetar” şi ameninţă că nu vor asigura suportul tehnico-administrativ la alegerile locale.
“Legea unică a salarizării ar fi scos o mare parte din funcţionarii publici cu studii superioare din zona salariului minim pe economie şi care, după solicitările noastre, ar fi eliminat şi discrepanţele salariale existente pe funcţii publice similare. Această discriminare afectează membrii de sindicat, funcţionari publici, din cadrul administraţiei publice centrale — Ministerul Finanţelor Publice, Ministerul Muncii cu cele trei componente — Inspecţia Muncii, Ministerul de Externe, Institutul Cultural Român, Ministerul Transporturilor, Ministerul Economiei, Protecţia Consumatorilor, Ministerul Culturii, dar şi din cadrul administraţiei publice locale — prefecturi, consilii judeţene, primării”, este mesajul transmis de sindicalişti.
Aceştia susţin că, până acum, au fost eliminate discrepanţele salariale doar la funcţionarii publici angajaţi în instituţiile de prim nivel, Parlament, Preşedinţia României, aparatul de lucru al Guvernului sau Curtea de Conturi.
