Deși președintele României, Klaus Iohannis, i-a făcut o declarație de dragoste transmițându-i că îl vrea premier și după alegerile din decembrie, Dacian Cioloș a tranșat fără alte comentarii discuția.
Actualul premier exclude posibilitatea de a candida la alegerile parlamentare și chiar precizează că “din ce a spus domnul președinte Iohannis eu nu am înțeles că mi-a cerut să candidez”.
Chiar dacă există o afinitate a lui Cioloș pentru PNL și a fost curtat intens de liberali, acesta nu vrea să-și lege imaginea de vreo formațiune politică anume și nici nu prea și-ar mai dori să activeze pe plan intern, fiind mai interesat de un job avut la Bruxelles, la nivel înalt.
Asta în ciuda faptului că Iohannis i-a transmis că “trebuie să-și continue proiectele începute în acest an și după alegerile din decembrie. Are proiecte bune începute, dar trebuie să anunțe cu cine vrea să-și pună în practică aceste proiecte, pentru că nu voi mai nominaliza persoane independente politic în funcția de premier al României. Trebuie să-și anunțe adeziunea, simpatia sau măcar preferința pentru partidul cu care ar putea să colaboreze în viitor”.
