Mihail Saakaşvili, guvernatorul regiunii Odessa, anunţă că se aşteaptă ca România şi Bulgaria să lupte împotriva influenţei ruseşti din Ucraina şi Republica Moldova.
Saakaşvili se teme că Ucraina şi Republica Moldova ar putea fi acaparate de Moscova în condiţiile în care “oamenii din sudul Basarabiei nu se uită la posturi de televiziune româneşti, ci la cele transmise de Moscova”.
Prezent la o conferinţă ce avea ca titlu “Decizii-hibrid pentru securitatea în zona Mării Negre”, Saakaşvili anunţă că “avem contacte bune cu România şi legături puternice cu Bulgaria. Trebuie să integrăm această regiune cât mai curând posibil. Mă aştept ca România şi Bulgaria să lupte pentru a combate influenţa rusească din sudul Basarabiei”.
În plus, Saakaşvili a făcut trimitere şi la cei 500.000 de români aflaţi în Ucraina şi despre care spune că “ar avea nevoie de o schimbare în bine şi să ştie că patria lor mamă se luptă pentru a le proteja interesele”.
