Poliţiştii Direcţiei de Investigaţii Criminale din cadrul Inspectoratului General al Poliţiei Române au depistat, în Bucureşti, un cetăţean rus căutat internaţional.
Individul era dat în urmărire internaţională fiind acuzat de înşelăciune cu consecinţe deosebit de grave, dar şi de abuz în serviciu.
Autorităţile ruseşti au emis un mandat de arestare preventivă în lipsă pe numele său, dar au dat greş în încercarea de a-l captura.
Şi asta în ciuda faptului că nu vorbim despre un infractor oarecare ci despre un infractor acuzat că a prejudiciat mai multe societăţi comerciale cu peste 36 de milioane de euro.
Magistraţii de la Curtea de Apel Bucureşti au decis, deja, arestarea sa preventivă pentru 30 de zile, dar decizia de extrădare a sa încă nu a fost judecată.
Totuşi, este foarte posibil să se aprobe extrădarea dacă ne gândim că s-a primit la Bucureşti “o notiţă roşie din partea autorităţilor judiciare ruse, notiţă echivalentă cu un mandat de arestare în vederea extrădării”.
