UPDATE: Dragnea i-a delegat lui Florin Iordache pentru toată luna ianuarie 2019 atribuțiile de șef al Camerei Deputaților, semn că nu se va prezenta în fața procurorilor anticorupție.
Liderul PSD Liviu Dragnea – condamnat definitiv la 2 ani de închisoare, iar într-un alt dosar, la 3 ani și 6 luni de închisoare cu executare în prima instanță – a fost citat pentru data de 3 ianuarie la DNA, într-un al treilea dosar de corupție.
Informația este mai mult decât sigură, după declarația inculpatului făcută joi seară, la Antena 3. Concret, Liviu Dragnea s-a gândit să facă experimentul de a nu merge la Parchet, în cazul în care va fi citat: ”Să nu mă duc. Vizită de stat în Vaslui. Totuşi este un drept al unul om să nu vină. M-am gândit să fac experimentul ăsta. Nu ştiu dacă mă cheamă”.
El a făcut declarația pe un ton ironic, cu aluzie la cele două citații primite de la Parchetul General și neonorate de soția președintelui Klaus Iohannis. Diferența este însă că Dragnea este deja inculpat pentru comiterea a 5 infracțiuni de corupție, printre care și cea de fraudare a 20 de milioane de euro din fonduri europene și peste 31 de milioane de lei din bugetul de stat. Din acest motiv, el are sechestru pe avere.
În 21 decembrie, chiar înainte de Crăciun, o judecătoare de la Tribunalul Teleorman a respins definitiv cererea procurorilor DNA de redeschidere a unei părți a dosarului Teldrum.
În noiembrie 2017, procurorii DNA l-au pus sub acuzare pe Liviu Dragnea pentru 5 infracţiuni, două de abuz în serviciu, două de fraudă cu fonduri europene şi constituire de grup infracţional organizat. Procurorii susţin că, în realitate, compania de construcţii drumuri din Teleorman, Tel Drum, îi aparţine liderului PSD. El ar fi încălcat legea astfel încât Tel Drum să obţină fonduri europene pentru asfaltarea unor drumuri judeţene. Dosarul DNA a fost redeschis ca urmare a sesizării OLAF, organismul antifraudă al Uniunii Europene.
