Fostul ministru de Interne Gabriel Oprea s-a prezentat, miercuri dimineață, la sediul DNA, însoțit de avocata sa și de gărzile de corp – care i-au îmbrâncit pe cameramani să nu-l filmeze și pe jurnaliști să nu-i pună întrebări.
Nu este prima dată când grandomanul Oprea vine cu bodyguarzii la DNA, însă a refuzat să spună dacă sunt plătiți de el sau i-a primit “de la stat”.
UPDATE: DNA l-a pus oficial sub acuzare pe Oprea pentru abuz în serviciu în dosarul DIPI.
UPDATE: Oprea a stat circa o jumătate de oră în sediul DNA și a ieșit la ora 10.15, încadrat de bodyguarzii care i-au ținut din nou la respect pe jurnaliști.
Fostul ministru de Interne le-a răspus câteva fraze ziariștilor, dar nu a răspuns la nicio întrebare adresată de aceștia. Astfel, Oprea s-a prevalat din nou de faptul că MAI a achiziționat în ultimii ani 5.000 de mașini (prin programul de reînnoire Rabla – n.r.) și a declarat că “în anul 2015, instituțiile abilitate ale statului au identificat amenințări la nivelul conducerii MAI, sunt documente în acest sens, s-a lucrat integrat – MAI-DIPI-MApN, DIPI a reînființat o unitate și cu această ocazie a fost cumpărată acea mașină. De altfel, șeful DIPI Nicolae Gheorghe a declarat în scris că nu am cerut vreo mașină”.
Oprea a refuzat să răspundă de la cine a primit amenințările și dacă a fost declanșată o anchetă în acest sens.
El este cercetat pentru abuz în serviciu în acest al doilea dosar – cel în care este urmărit penal şi fostul şef al DIPI, Nicolae Gheorghe -, după ce a dispus suplimentarea cu 410.000 lei fondurile pentru cheltuieli operative ale MAI şi a aprobat achiziţia ilegală unui autoturism Audi A8 pentru folosința sa personală.
În primul dosar penal, Oprea este urmărit penal pentru două infracţiuni de abuz în serviciu: a folosit ilegal coloana oficială de câte 5 ori pe zi, până și la restaurant sau la partid, şi i-a aprobat ilegal şi fostului procuror general, Tiberiu Niţu, folosirea coloanei oficiale.
