Prezent la un eveniment la Arad, în cadrul căruia ALDE şi-a lansat candidaţii pentru primăriile locale, Călin Popescu Tăriceanu, copreşedintele formaţiunii politice amintite, a sărit la gâtul foştilor colaboratori din cadrul Partidului Naţional Liberal.
Tăriceanu este de părere că ALDE este singurul partid de centru-dreapta din România şi că “PNL nu mai este un partid real. A devenit doar o ascunzătoare pentru foştii pedelişti”.
“Am constatat cu regret că PNL a devenit un fel de perdea în spatele căreia se ascund foştii pedelişti, personaje compromise în guvernarea Băsescu — Boc din perioada 2009 — 2012, când cetăţenilor le erau impuse curbe de sacrificiu — ne aducem aminte de tăierile salariilor în sectorul public, de tăierile pensiilor — timp în care Autoritatea Naţională de Restituire a Proprietăţilor a fost alimentată cu un miliard de euro pentru satisfacerea camarilei PDL. Sigur că oamenii compromişi în acea perioadă aveau nevoie de un loc unde să stea să se cureţe, iar acesta este astăzi, practic, PNL-ul”, a declarat Călin Popescu Tăriceanu.
Copreşedintele ALDE anunţă că “PNL-ul este inclusiv la nivelul administraţiei locale mai degrabă un Partid Naţional Neliberal. Iată, la Arad îl avem pe domnul Falcă, iar la Cluj îl avem pe Emil Boc. Doi dintre exponenţii cei mai cunoscuţi ai fostului PDL”.
Tăriceanu cântă prohodul PNL-ului inclusiv la nivel central, “unde liderii naţionali, unii compromişi în mare măsură, nu înregistrează scoruri mai mari de 7-11%, mult sub cota partidului”.
În aceste condiţii, copreşedintele ALDE anunţă că “nu văd un viitor prea bun pentru PNL, care totuşi a fost un partid care s-a remarcat prin modernizarea României, iar după 1990 prin susţinerea valorilor democratice pe care s-a clădit ţara noastră după căderea comunismului”.
